Job summary

Shenandoah University’s Office of Admissions is seeking an Admissions Data and Processing Specialist, a full-time benefited role on our Winchester, Virginia campus.

The specialist will map and import data from CollegeBoard, CAS, and vendors, routinely import test scores, retrieve documents, and perform QA on materials to support undergraduate and graduate admissions decisions. Experience with Ellucian Colleague, Slate, and Etrieve is valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel, and the ability to learn software quickly.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a high‑volume environment.
• Ability to understand and follow systems and standards.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
• Flexibility and willingness to respond to shifting needs and priorities.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently as needed.
• Confidentiality and integrity are essential.
• Experience as a team leader or supervisor is preferred.
• Experience in higher education or an office environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and maps import data files from sources like CollegeBoard, CAS, and vendor media.
• Performs daily imports of test scores from GRE, GMAT, SAT, ACT, CollegeBoard, IELTS, etc.
• Retrieves documents daily from Parchment, SCOIR, CollegeBoard for Admissions CRM import.
• Assesses and processes undergraduate and graduate prospect, inquiry, and application data.
• Conducts QA audits on materials and resolves duplicates in Admissions CRM and SIS.
• Collaborates with counseling and events teams on data handling and communication.
• Identifies issues and develops solutions to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Learns and uses Ellucian Colleague SIS, Slate CRM, Etrieve CMS and related tools.
• Provides regular progress reports to supervisors.
