Job summary

Laurel Lakes Rehab and Wellness Center in Chambersburg, PA is seeking an experienced Admissions Director/Customer Services Director to lead referral generation, admissions processing and service excellence for our 186-bed skilled nursing facility.

You will coordinate admissions with multiple departments, manage paperwork, and drive census growth through external referrals and internal training programs. Casual position with daily pay option and strong team culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of experience in a health care facility.
• High School Diploma or GED; AA/BA in health-related field preferred.
• Working knowledge of referral management systems.
• Be computer literate in data input, retrieval and output functions.
• Must be patient, tactful, cheerful and enthusiastic with residents, staff and visitors.
• Must pass post-offer background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Timely conversion of referrals to admissions and serve as community liaison.
• Obtain required information and admit residents per policies.
• Complete weekly activity and progress reports reflecting budget.
• Manage admissions paperwork and ensure courteous treatment of residents.
• Provide pertinent resident information to relevant departments.
• Weekly data entry of referrals into tracking software.
• Demonstrate knowledge of Levels of Care and referral priorities.
• Generate referrals from targeted accounts identified in sales plans.
• Conduct external sales activity to increase census and conversions.
• Analyze referral trends, denial statistics and admissions data.
• Conduct tours to promote admissions and coordinate customer service training.
