Job summary

Grand Canyon Education seeks a Speciality Admissions Counselor to engage prospective students, explain degree programs and guide applicants through the enrollment process. You will act as a trusted advisor, support transfer credit evaluations, and help students navigate the Online Learning environment.

You will stay current with policy changes, collaborate with graduation teams, and ensure students progress toward degree completion while meeting program requirements.

• Strong planning and organizational skills to meet service standards.
• Must be able to learn all partner degree programs and requirements.

Responsibilities

• Contacts interested students by phone, informing them about programs and requirements.
• Provides steps for pre-evaluation of transcripts for transfer credits.
• Advises students on degree programs and acts as a trusted advisor.
• Keeps up to date on policy changes and incorporates them into daily operations.
• Directs students to programs that meet their needs and answers program-related questions.
• Explains and guides students through the Online Learning platform.
