Job summary

Texas A&M University-San Antonio is seeking an Admissions Counselor II to identify, recruit, and support admitted and prospective students. Under general supervision, you will develop recruiting plans, coordinate travel, mentor staff, and contribute to increasing the population of underrepresented students.

You will work with high school counselors, conduct on and off-campus speaking events, review applications, and provide guidance on admissions policies and programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field is required.
• One year of related experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, and databases is expected.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
