You will guide prospective students through the application process, represent the university at recruitment events, and advise on programs and admission requirements.

The role emphasizes accessibility and diversity, requires strong communication, CRM proficiency, and willingness to travel for events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in admissions, recruitment, counseling, or a related field.
• Excellent public speaking and presentation skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Proficiency in using CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to travel to attend recruitment events (may include some overnight travel).
• Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A genuine interest in higher education and student success.

Responsibilities

• Recruit prospective students by attending college fairs, high school visits, and information sessions.
• Respond to inquiries from prospective students, parents, and guidance counselors via phone, email, and in-person meetings.
• Guide applicants through the admissions application process, ensuring all requirements are met.
• Evaluate applications based on established university criteria.
• Present information about programs, campus life, and financial aid options.
• Develop and maintain relationships with high school counselors and community organizations.
• Assist in planning and executing on-campus and virtual recruitment events.
• Enter and maintain accurate student prospect data in the university's CRM system.
