Job summary

Lutheran Home in Arlington Heights is seeking an Admissions Coordinator to answer questions from families, give tours of the rehab wing, and guide move-ins. The role supports short- and long-term care admissions and works closely with nursing and other departments to ensure smooth transitions.

With 1+ year in skilled nursing admissions and CRM experience, you’ll help families navigate paperwork, track referrals, and build relationships with hospital staff.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in skilled nursing or rehab admissions experience.
• Experience with a CRM system.
• Ability to pass a drug test and background check.
• Preferred: Experience working with people from many cultures and backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls and emails from families, hospitals, and referral partners, and follow up on every lead.
• Give tours of our rehab wing and skilled nursing community.
• Walk families through admissions paperwork and plan each move-in.
• Coordinate short-term rehab and long-term care admissions with nursing and other departments.
• Track referrals, tours, and admissions in our CRM.
• Build relationships with hospital case managers, social workers, and doctors.
• Work with the Sales Director and admissions team to meet occupancy goals.
