Ochsner Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking an Admissions Coordinator to join our on-site Admissions team. You will manage referral intake, coordinate with departments, and ensure smooth admission processes for patients entering our rehabilitation program.

As a key member of the business development team, you will verify insurance, schedule admissions, and maintain accurate patient records in HMS/MedHost. This role offers growth, comprehensive benefits, and a structured onboarding program.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent required.
• Minimum of two years' experience in Admissions or Pre-Admissions.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and insurance verification is preferred.
• Experience with Excel and database systems is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage referral intake and patient admissions as part of Business Development.
• Coordinate with departments to prepare for admission day.
• Enter patient data in HMS/MedHost and track benefits and billing details.
• Process admissions paperwork and verify patient information with signatures.
