Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Trophy Club in Trophy Club, TX seeks an Admissions Coordinator to interface with patients, physicians and staff, admit patients, and manage paperwork.

This role supports registration, billing, and HIM processes, working across the Emergency Department and Business Office. The position requires hospital clerical experience, BLS within 90 days, and accurate typing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year hospital clerical experience or similar.
• Insurance verification experience required.
• BLS certification within 90 days of employment.
• Typing 45 wpm and basic computer skills required.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Interface with patients, families, physicians and staff.
• Admit patients and process their paperwork.
• Update patient demographics in the system.
• Collect payments and document in billing system.
• Handle funds per office procedure.
• Assist with overflow from reception and HIM tasks.
• Support various departments as needed by management.
