Job summary

Owensboro Community and Technical College is seeking a temporary/part-time Admissions Coordinator to provide clerical support, evaluate applications, enter admissions data, and share admissions decisions to support recruiting, admitting and enrolling a diverse student body.

The role is on-site in Owensboro, with standard hours Monday–Friday 9AM–3PM (27.5 hrs/week), non-exempt, and a 12-month contract. The salary is $15.00 per hour, and the department is Student Affairs.

Qualifications

• Associates degree and three years of relevant work experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree and one year of relevant work experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide admissions assistance to prospective students and applicants.
• Advise students about placement and assist with placement testing.
• Provide academic advising and enrollment services to new and non-credential students.
• Assist current and potential students, parents, counselors, and staff with admissions policies.
• Work schedule: Monday–Friday 9AM–3PM.
