Job summary

Tutera Senior Living & Health Care is seeking an Admissions Coordinator to manage admission guidelines, market programs, gather applicant information, screen candidates, and complete admissions processes for residents transitioning to the community.

You will help develop census and quality mix by providing prospective residents and referral sources with information and outstanding service to support smooth transitions and long-term satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience in Skilled Nursing Admissions or healthcare admissions preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Able to maintain admission guidelines and processes

Responsibilities

• Maintain admission guidelines and processes for residents
• Market and promote programs to prospective residents and referral sources
• Obtain applicant information and screen applicants
• Complete admissions documentation and processing
• Address resident concerns during transition to the community

What Will You Do in This Role?

As an Admissions Coordinator, you will be responsible for maintaining admission guidelines, marketing programs, obtaining applicant information, screening applicants, completing admissions processes, and resolving resident concerns during their transition to the community. The Admissions Coordinator is also responsible for developing census and quality mix by providing prospective residents, responsible parties, and referral sources with appropriate information and assistance.

Do You Have What It Takes?

• A fire and passion for working with seniors
• A flexible, fun, and energetic personality
• College degree preferred
• Sales experience, particularly in health care services, products, or pharmaceuticals is desirable
• Familiarity with long-term care and/or health care services preferred
• Professional image in both appearance and behavior
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
