Highland Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in Kansas City is seeking an Admissions Coordinator responsible for guiding prospective residents through admission guidelines, gathering applicant information, screening candidates, and completing the admissions process during their transition to the community.

You will also work to develop census and quality mix by informing residents, families, and referral sources about the center's services, while maintaining a professional image and strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or college equivalent preferred.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to market programs and gather applicant information.
• Experience in healthcare sales is desirable.
• Familiarity with long-term care or health services preferred.

What Will You Do in This Role?

As an Admissions Coordinator, you will be responsible for maintaining admission guidelines, marketing programs, obtaining applicant information, screening applicants, completing admissions processes, and resolving resident concerns during their transition to the community. The Admissions Coordinator is also responsible for developing census and quality mix by providing prospective residents, responsible parties, and referral sources with appropriate information and assistance.

Do You Have What It Takes?

• A fire and passion for working with seniors
• A flexible, fun, and energetic personality
• College degree preferred
• Sales experience, particularly in health care services, products, or pharmaceuticals is desirable
• Familiarity with long-term care and/or health care services preferred
• Professional image in both appearance and behavior
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
