Highland Rehabilitation & Health Care Center is seeking an Admissions Coordinator to manage admission guidelines, marketing programs, collect applicant information, screen candidates, complete admissions, and resolve resident concerns during transitions.

The role helps grow census and maintain quality mix by providing prospective residents, responsible parties, and referral sources with the information and assistance they need to choose our community.

Qualifications

• Passion for seniors and ability to engage with residents and families.
• Strong communication, both written and verbal.
• Sales experience in healthcare or related fields is a plus.
• Familiarity with long-term care operations and regulatory considerations.
• Professional appearance and demeanor expected.

Responsibilities

What Will You Do in This Role?

As an Admissions Coordinator, you will be responsible for maintaining admission guidelines, marketing programs, obtaining applicant information, screening applicants, completing admissions processes, and resolving resident concerns during their transition to the community. The Admissions Coordinator is also responsible for developing census and quality mix by providing prospective residents, responsible parties, and referral sources with appropriate information and assistance.

Do You Have What It Takes?

• A fire and passion for working with seniors
• A flexible, fun, and energetic personality
• College degree preferred
• Sales experience, particularly in health care services, products, or pharmaceuticals is desirable
• Familiarity with long-term care and/or health care services preferred
• Professional image in both appearance and behavior
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
