Cantex Continuing Care Network is seeking a Community Relations Coordinator for The Broadmoor at Creekside Park in Spring, TX. The role focuses on building census by coordinating referrals, tours, and admissions, ensuring timely conversions and accurate information relay to staff.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in a long-term care setting with demonstrated census development.
• Excellent verbal and written skills; public speaking may be necessary.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Obtain family commitment to tour Community on viable referrals and conduct professional tours with clinical and financial staff to gain admission.
• Conduct the admission process, explain policies, ensure all paperwork is complete at admission.
• Coordinate obtaining admission approval for referrals and ensure census targets are met or exceeded.
• Attend daily department manager meetings to update referrals, admissions, and follow up on issues to obtain admissions.
• Implement a ninety-day marketing plan to achieve occupancy and quality mix goals.
• Identify barriers to the admissions process and communicate them to leadership.
• Make sales calls to targeted referral sources such as physicians, hospitals, social workers, and community organizations.
• Document inquiries using the inquiry follow-up log and participate in committees as requested.
