Job summary

Riverview on the Appomattox Health & Rehab seeks an Admissions Director to lead admissions and census development, connecting prospective residents and families with compassionate care while strengthening referral partnerships.

The role manages the admission process, coordinates with clinical and community teams, conducts tours for families, trains staff, and ensures a smooth, compliant, and welcoming admissions experience in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal, communication, public-speaking, and organizational skills.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred, or at least three years in sales, marketing, healthcare, or related field.
• Ability to coordinate multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop admission management and census development strategies.
• Network with referral sources and community partners.
• Coordinate the admission process in alignment with standards and policies.
• Conduct tours for prospective residents and their families.
• Train staff to deliver exceptional admissions service and customer care.
• Manage department budget and ensure adequate equipment and supplies.
• Attend Department Head meetings and implement decisions.
