Job summary

Whitehall Borough Post Acute seeks a Director of Admissions & Census Development to lead the admissions process from referral to admission and drive census growth. You will supervise the Admissions & Referral Coordinator and partner with nursing, business office, and clinical leadership to ensure timely, compliant admissions.

The role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a fast-paced referral environment, while championing patient rights and compassionate care across

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Clear background check (last 7 years).
• Must meet health requirements including physical exam and 2-step PPD.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage incoming referrals across platforms and systems.
• Coordinate initial screening of referrals and evaluate information.
• Communicate referral decisions to hospitals, case managers, families, and sources.
• Maintain accurate referral statuses and next steps for active referrals.
• Coordinate admissions from acceptance through admission and resolve barriers.
