Job summary

University of Derby invites applications for an Admissions role within the Registry. You will manage a portfolio of courses, ensuring accurate and timely processing of applications in line with admissions strategy and policies.

You will plan and prioritise tasks, work across digital systems, and engage with stakeholders to ensure fair, compliant admissions while supporting open days, enrolment and Clearing activities. Occasional evening/weekend work is expected during peak periods.

• Ability to use complex digital systems and explain information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of courses and ensure applications are processed accurately and expediently in line with admissions strategy.
• Plan and prioritise tasks, balance deadlines, and meet KPIs such as turnaround times.
• Work across multiple digital systems to process applications and enquiries.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure fair and compliant admissions.
• Act as Data Steward for data within your portfolio and feed management reporting.
• Support wider Registry activities such as Clearing, open days, outreach events and enrolment.
• Occasionally undertake evening and weekend work during peak periods, especially August and September.
