Job summary

Dorsey College in Michigan is seeking an Admissions Representative to recruit and interview prospective students, review applications, and guide applicants through enrollment into college programs. You will act as a sales representative to explain courses and outcomes to prospective students and coordinate campus events.

The role requires strong communication, organization, and customer service skills, with occasional evening or weekend commitments to meet deadlines and engage applicants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business is required.
• 1–2 years of sales/recruitment experience is preferred.
• Experience in education, admissions, customer service or sales is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and interview potential students about their educational goals and qualifications.
• Review paperwork and documents and evaluate applicants for enrollment.
• Enroll prospective students within the community into college programs.
• Bring more students to the institution and act as a sales representative to discuss courses and benefits.
• Coordinate open houses, orientations, and other new student events.
• Serve as liaison between the institution and students to address issues and report them as needed.
