Job summary

Spokane Falls Care is seeking an Admission/Wound Nurse (LPN or RN) to coordinate and provide comprehensive nursing care for newly admitted residents, focusing on wound assessment, treatment, prevention, and ongoing management.

The role requires collaboration with providers, nursing staff, therapy, dietary, and other interdisciplinary teams to ensure positive clinical outcomes and regulatory compliance. A Washington LPN or RN license is required to practice in this setting.

Qualifications

• Current Washington LPN or RN license without enforcement action.

Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive nursing assessments and admission evaluations for new residents.
• Develop and initiate individualized care plans based on resident needs, diagnoses, risks, and preferences.
• Complete comprehensive skin and wound assessments upon admission and throughout the resident's stay.
• Monitor wound progress and update treatment plans and care plans as clinically indicated.
• Assist with discharge planning and provide appropriate wound-care instructions and education when residents discharge.
• Maintain confidentiality and protect resident rights while providing compassionate, person-centered care.
