Job summary

Edgefield Post Acute is seeking an experienced RN or LPN Wound Nurse to join our skilled nursing and rehab team in Edgefield, SC. You will assess and treat wounds, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, and educate residents and families on wound prevention and care.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of nursing experience, a valid RN or LPN license, and proven wound care expertise. We offer competitive hourly pay and a $7,500 sign-on bonus with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Current, active, unrestricted RN or LPN license.
• MUST have wound care experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess, manage, and treat wounds, pressure injuries, skin tears, ulcers, and other dermatologic conditions.
• Complete comprehensive skin assessments and quarterly dermatologic evaluations.
• Develop and modify individualized treatment plans with interdisciplinary team.
• Provide reports on resident progress and wound healing.
• Maintain accurate documentation and HIPAA compliance.
• Educate residents and families on wound prevention and care.
