Expect to handle inquiries, screen clients, manage records in the EMR, coordinate insurance benefits, and build rapport with prospective clients as part of a compassionate admissions process.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• CAT certification or NAADAC equivalent preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Six months of experience in substance use disorder field preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to build rapport by phone and email.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office in a Windows environment.
• Valid Colorado driver’s license if driving for AllHealth Network business.
• One year of continuous sobriety if recovering from a substance use disorder.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently complete telephone inquiry calls in Salesforce.
• Complete timely client screening assessments and coordinate insurance benefit eligibility as needed.
• Enter critical information into EMR prior to admission, including mental health/medical records.
• Follow up with internal stakeholders to determine suitability for admission.
• Re-engage with initial inquiries to build relationships and connect individuals to resources.
• Introduce prospective clients and families to the Sage Ridge AllHealth Network experience through tours and staff connections.
• Schedule admissions, complete required paperwork, and obtain necessary signatures.
• Collaborate with nursing team to support client safety during admissions.
• Report referral sources to support business development.
• Participate in and promote a positive, cooperative team environment.
• Maintain confidentiality per 42 CFR Part 2, HIPAA, and HITECH.
• Complete Relias Learning training within required timelines.
• Follow AllHealth Network policies and procedures.

AllHealth Network is currently looking for a qualified Admissions Specialist to join our team at Sage Ridge in Watkins, CO. This is a full-time opportunity for someone who is compassionate, detail-oriented, and passionate about helping individuals and families access the right level of behavioral health and substance use treatment.

As an Admissions Specialist, you will often be one of the first points of contact for prospective clients and families. In this role, you will help guide individuals through the admissions process, gather important information, coordinate with internal teams, and create a welcoming, supportive experience from the very first conversation.

What You’ll Do

• Participate in and promote a positive, supportive, and cooperative team environment.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow applicable requirements, including 42 CFR Part 2, HIPAA, and HITECH.
• Complete required training through Relias Learning within required timelines.
• Follow all AllHealth Network policies and procedures.

What You Bring

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Equivalent work experience may be substituted for education requirements.
• CAT certification or NAADAC equivalent preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Six months of previous work experience in the substance use disorder field preferred.
• Familiarity with mental health services and basic medical insurance concepts is helpful.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to build rapport effectively by phone and email.
• Ability to manage detailed information and enter data accurately.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products in a Windows environment.
• Ability to demonstrate empathy, sound judgment, professionalism, and sensitivity to cultural diversity.
• Valid Colorado driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record required if driving for AllHealth Network business.
• If recovering from a substance use disorder, one year of continuous sobriety is required.
