Volunteer State Community College is seeking an Administrator of Talent Engagement to lead the recruitment process, partner with hiring managers, develop position descriptions and strategic recruitment plans, and promote a positive candidate experience.
This role also oversees compliance, uses ATS and reporting metrics, designs recruiting strategies, and collaborates with Marketing and ERP systems to strengthen hiring outcomes.

This position will oversee the recruitment process to attract toptalent.
Collaborate with hiring managers to develop positiondescriptions and strategic recruitment plans, provide trainingregarding interviewing and hiring best practices, promote culture,and continuously improve recruitment practices.
Oversee the recruitment process.
Utilize recruitment metrics toidentify areas for improvement.
Build relationships and focus onaligning talent strategies with business goals.
Serve as an advisorfor hiring managers and search committees while ensuring a positiveand engaging experience for candidates and new hires.
Partner withhiring managers to design recruiting strategies, define candidateprofiles, and deliver top talent while using recruiting metrics tomeasure success and inform continuous process improvements tostrengthen hiring outcomes.
Assist in a variety of special projectsand reports including assisting with the preparation of requiredTennessee Board of Regents (TBR) and governmental reports andgeneral requests.
Ensure compliance with all employment laws,regulations, and internal policies and procedures to support hiringpractices.
Develop, implement, and maintain recruitment systems andprocedures, including strategies and selection techniques toidentify, attract, hire, and retain top talent.
Conduct ongoingtraining regarding interviewing and hiring best practices.
Reviewand revise position descriptions and maintain consistency.
Serve asa Vol State representative at internal and external recruitmentrelated events.
Partner with Marketing, Communications, and MediaServices to enhance recruitment campaigns and college outreachinitiatives.
Responsible for data entry, data integrity, andtesting.
Assist in managing the online ATS to include creatingapproved requisitions, posting/closing positions,activating/inactivating users, and troubleshooting system issues.Assist applicants/employees with questions and inquiries concerningjob openings, password resets for the applicant tracking system andgeneral information.
Other duties as assigned.
Ability to communicate effectively and work cooperatively withfaculty, staff, students, and the community.
Must be very detail oriented and have an exceptional ability to scan for accuracy and completeness.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Mastery of Word,Excel, ATS, and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
Ability to make administrative and procedural decisions and judgments as needed.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion.
Extensive knowledge of applicable state and federal employment and labor laws and governmental compliance requirements.
Must present a confident, professional demeanor.
Must be able to manage various tasks, often simultaneously.
Must be able to look for ways to streamline processes to enhance operational efficiency.
Must be able to adapt and be flexible as recruitment priorities and strategies change.
$58,587 - $73,234 annual salarydepending on experience
