Qualifications

  • Four-year degree from an accredited traditional institution or advanced degrees completed online.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily facility operations ensuring a safe, caring environment for residents and staff.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations including Alabama Board requirements.
  • Manage budgets, financial planning, and resource allocation for fiscal health.
  • Recruit, train, and retain qualified staff for continuous improvement and growth.
  • Implement and monitor quality assurance programs to enhance resident care.
  • Engage with residents' families and the community to promote the facility’s mission.

Candidates must be open to travel as this role will cover multiple facilities in Alabama.

About Us: We are dedicated to providing exceptional long-term and rehabilitative care to our residents. We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) to lead our team, ensuring compliance with Alabama state regulations and delivering the highest quality of care to our residents.

Compensation: depending on experience

Schedule: M-F, 9a-5p, Day shift

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Leadership and Management: Oversee the daily operations of the facility, ensuring a safe, efficient, and caring environment for residents and staff.
  2. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the facility adheres to all federal, state, and local regulations, including those set by the Alabama Board of Examiners of Nursing Home Administrators.
  3. Financial Oversight: Manage budgets, financial planning, and resource allocation to maintain fiscal health.
  4. Staff Development: Recruit, train, and retain qualified staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
  5. Quality Assurance: Implement and monitor quality assurance programs to enhance resident care and satisfaction.
  6. Community Engagement: Serve as a liaison between the facility, residents' families, and the broader community to promote the facility's mission and services.
Qualifications:
  1. Licensure: Must hold a current and valid Nursing Home Administrator license issued by the Alabama Board of Examiners of Nursing Home Administrators.
  2. Education: Candidates must hold a four-year degree from an accredited, traditional institution or Advanced degrees completed online.
  3. Experience: At least one year of full-time experience as a nursing home administrator or completion of a Board-approved Administrator-in-Training (AIT) program.
  4. Character: Demonstrated good moral character and a genuine interest in the well-being of nursing home residents.
  5. Health: Must be in good physical and mental health to perform the duties of the position effectively.
  6. Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to manage complex operations in a healthcare setting.
  7. Relocation: Candidates must agree to being relocatable.
