The System Administrator II (SA-II) is responsible for effectiveprovisioning, installation/configuration, operation, andmaintenance of the GTCC systems hardware, software and relatedinfrastructure. S/He will evaluate and maintain servers and systemsto ensure their proper security, operation and availability. TheSA-II will assist and lead project teams, address technical issuesand offer engineered solutions supporting the college. Theseactivities include technical strategy, research & developmentand maintenance within the documented project life cycle. SystemsAdministrators will monitor systems for proper operation, systemmaintenance, security-breaches. S/He will follow establishedprocess to standardize overall server management; ensuringequipment for system patches and maintenance of software/firmware.S/He will ensure successful backups of both files and ERP data andrestore data as necessary. This position works closely withdepartment managers throughout the college to analyze technologyrequirements, document specifications, and provide technicalsolutions.
