Merakey is seeking an Administrator Day Program in Chico, CA to oversee the daily operations of an Adult Day Program serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The role emphasizes high-quality service delivery, staff supervision, and person-centered care in a collaborative environment.

The Administrator will supervise DSPs, coordinate scheduling and activities, ensure plans are followed, and support regulatory compliance while driving positive outcomes for participants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with individuals with IDD required.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory or managerial experience required.
• Strong knowledge of behavior supports, compliance, and program operations.
• Valid Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of an Adult Day Program serving individuals with IDD.
• Supervise DSPs and Lead DSPs and coordinate staffing.
• Ensure implementation of individual service plans and behavior plans.
• Support staff in behavior management and skill development.
• Maintain compliance with Title 17/22 and Merakey policies.

Administrator Day Program

Overview
The Administrator is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of an Adult Day Program serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). This role ensures high-quality service delivery, staff supervision, and compliance while supporting a person-centered environment located in Chico, CA.

Pay Rate

• $26.00/hour

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and provide leadership to Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) and Lead DSPs
• Oversee day-to-day program operations, including scheduling, staffing, and community-based activities
• Ensure implementation of individual service plans, behavior plans, and program documentation
• Provide hands-on support and coaching to staff in direct care, behavior management, and skill development
• Maintain compliance with regulatory standards (Title 17/22) and Merakey policies
• Support program administration, including documentation, reporting, and oversight of individual funds
• Partner with Program Director and interdisciplinary team to drive quality outcomes
• Foster a collaborative, positive team environment and address staffing needs proactively
