Merakey is seeking a Direct Support Professional to support individuals with disabilities in an Adult Day Program. Responsibilities include delivering activities, refining living skills, and promoting cognitive and social development under the Program Director's guidance.

Earn $18/hour with a high school diploma or $20/hour with a college degree, with an extra $2/hour for the enhanced pay option. Benefits include extensive coverage and wellbeing resources.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred but will accept an Associates with experience in the IDD field.
• Valid and Current Driver's License
• Age 18 or older
• A high degree of flexibility, organizational skills and creativity is required
• Experience working with individuals with IDD

Position Overview

Responsibilities include but may not be limited to:

• This is professional work providing Adult Day Program activities (i.e., vocational training, refinement of independent living skills, cognitive development, social skills, appropriate use of leisure time, mobility, sensory and perceptual motor skills, etc.) for Individuals with developmental disabilities.
• A high degree of flexibility, organizational skills and creativity is required of this employee. This employee is responsible for implementing programs on a substitute basis in all program areas.
• Work performance will be directed by the Program Director.

Earn $18/hour in this position with a high school diploma or $20/hour with a college degree. An additional $2/hour is offered with the selection of our enhanced pay program.
