TherapySouth in Alabama is seeking a Training Specialist to oversee onboarding and ongoing training for Office Coordinators, Patient Services Assistants, and Super Techs across clinics.
You will design live sessions, create tutorials and guides, and coordinate with clinic leadership to ensure processes are taught consistently and reinforced through videos and briefings, both in person and remotely.
Salary Range: $45,000.00 To $60,000.00 Annually
TherapySouth was founded in July 2006 by Steve Foster, PT, LAT. His vision was that TherapySouth would be a therapist-owned practice, specializing in "hands-on care, close to a patient's home or work". All of our clinics maintain a friendly atmosphere that helps patients feel at home in their surroundings. Having several locations allows patients to conveniently attend physical therapy two to three times per week to improve their daily functions. We know our patients' names when they walk in the door of our clinics!

Responsible for training front office tasks and processes to new and existing Office Coordinators, Patient Services Assistants, and Super Techs. This training includes live one-on-one and small classroom sessions, in-clinic hands-on sessions, remote classes, and development of supportive tools such as training videos, online tutorials, user guides and quick references.
1. Provide training and follow-up support for new Office Coordinators, Patient Services Assistants, and Super Techs.
2. Provide onsite and/or remote reinforcement training and support to existing Office Coordinators, Patient Services Assistants, and Super Techs, followed by documented summaries of training provided.
3. Provide Learning at Lunch sessions to introduce new software features, review policy or process changes, discuss topics of interest, etc.
4. Develop and maintain support documentation such as user guides and quick references.
5. Develop training videos, online tutorials, etc. for new and/or reinforcement training.
6. Communicate with Director of Administrative Services regularly to discuss status of current training, training needs of existing staff, needed process changes, etc.
7. Communicate regularly with Senior Office Coordinators regarding the needs of SOC Team members, new software features, process changes, etc.
8. Perform Office Coordinator duties at various clinics occasionally in order to know first-hand when processes or tasks may need to be changed or adjusted.
9. Perform other duties as required to meet the needs of the company.
