Pasa Sustainable Agriculture seeks an Administrative Support Associate to bolster contracts and grants administration. The role is primarily remote with in-person days and annual retreats, based near Harrisburg, PA.
You will manage records, support the Finance team, and help ensure grant lifecycles run smoothly across proposals, budgets, and deliverables. The ideal candidate will have strong detail orientation, collaborative spirit, and eagerness to learn within a nonprofit setting.

The Finance team at Pasa works across the organization to manage grants, finance, and compliance responsibilities, including contract review. This position will provide administrative support for both contracts management and grants management.
Pasa’s grants include about 20 active private, state, and federal opportunities ranging in size, scope, and duration. Program staff serve as grant leads while the Grants team facilitates the grant lifecycle administration, from grant proposals to budget and deliverable tracking to grant closeout. Pasa’s current largest grant provides $36.5 million in direct farmer payments, requiring close review of all farmer contracts. This position will provide administrative support through detailed recordkeeping, scheduling, contract review, and proactive communication with team members.
An ideal candidate for this position will have exceptional attention to detail, ability to foster collaborative relationships, and interest in nonprofit administrative management. Candidates should have a willingness to learn and continuously develop skills in these areas.
This position will be supervised by the Grants Finance Manager.
This is a primarily remote position with in-person workdays and 2-3 annual in-person staff retreats. All employees are required to attend our annual Sustainable Agriculture Conference, which takes place each February in Lancaster, PA. Employees are required to live in Pennsylvania or within 150 miles of Harrisburg, unless they receive approval for Philadelphia or Pittsburgh to be their primary work location, in which case employees are required to live within an hour's drive from Philadelphia or Pittsburgh.
