Aston Carter is seeking an entry-level Order Support Specialist to handle high-volume inbound calls and basic order-entry tasks in Newberg, OR. You will be the first point of contact for customers, using Microsoft AX/365 and helping support the Order Support team during system migrations while maintaining accuracy across multiple systems.
This contract role requires meticulous data entry and the ability to work on-site in Newberg.
Handle a high volume of inbound phone calls, transferring and routing customers to the appropriate internal resources (roughly 1 min each) Serve as the first point of contact for customer inquiries, ensuring professional and timely call handling Perform basic and minor order entry tasks during periods of lower call volume Support the Order Support team during the Microsoft AX to D365 migration and related system transitions Follow established processes while adapting to new tools and workflows introduced through the Digital Transformation Maintain accuracy and attention to detail while working in multiple systems Escalate issues appropriately to Order Support 2 or leadership when needed Approximately 80% phone / email support Approximately 20% basic order entry and administrative support Compiles, creates and modifies reports using database software of Microsoft Office applications Order entry of customer orders Use of Microsoft AX and Microsoft 365 for data entry and data collection of customer orders. Administers various programs, projects, and processes under specific department requirements, and generally acts as a resource for the department as a whole. Maintains confidentiality of information, achieves and maintains quality and productivity standards

1 year of relevant experience using Microsoft 1 year of experience in customer service or administrative experience. Must have confident phone presence Requires knowledge of and experience with office routines and general clerical procedures. Demonstrated keyboarding quality and efficiency with the ability to proofread for errors effectively. Must also possess general math skills and the ability to create electronic spreadsheets/database reports. Demonstrated ability to understand and maintain confidentiality of information and material. Must exercise good written and verbal communication skills, utilizing effective communication methods. Basic data entry skills with a high level of accuracy Comfort working in an in-office, team-based environment Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting order management or customer service teams Exposure to ERP, CRM, or order management systems Experience working during system implementations or transitions Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics, OrderNet, or similar platforms (not required)

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.60/hr.
