Huntington Health in Pasadena, CA seeks an Administrative Supervisor to lead, allocate resources and direct hospital staff during on-site operations and events. The role requires coordination with the Administrator On Call to manage planned or unexpected events and to uphold the organization’s mission and values.

Qualified candidates hold a Bachelor’s in Nursing with a Master’s preferred, and possess 2+ years of clinical and management experience, CA RN licensure, and BLS certification.

Expectations:

Provides on-site leadership, resources and direction to hospital employees and leaders. Liaises with Administrator On Call (AOC) in managing organization-wide planned or unexpected events. Supports the organization’s mission, vision and values in meeting operational goals. This position requires flexibility of hours.

EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required, Master’s preferred. RNs hired prior to 10/1/19 are exempt from the BSN requirement if transferring within the department.

EXPERIENCE/TRAINING:
Minimum 2 years of clinical experience required. Minimum 2 years of management experience preferred. In lieu of management experience, clinical experience in a lead position is acceptable.

LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
Required:
Current unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by California Board of Registered Nursing (BRN)
Current Basic Life Support Provider (BLS) issued by American Heart Association

SKILLS:
Must possess excellent critical reasoning, time management, delegation, skills, verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills, and problem-solving ability.
MS Office Computer skills at intermediate to advanced, required.

Pay Range: The estimated base rate for this position is $58.93 - $89.87.

Additional individual compensation may be available for this role through differentials, extra shift incentives, bonuses, etc. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package, and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions.

At Huntington Health, we offer a highly competitive pay structure that is more rewarding than organizations that offer straight pay. Our compensation reflects the following premium structure for every shift:

• Base rate paid for the first 8 hours of work in a day

• 1.5x overtime pay for hours 8–12 worked in a workday.

• 2x double-time pay for any hours beyond 12 in a workday

This ensures that employees are fairly compensated for the full length of their shift, with enhanced pay as their workday progresses. The estimated blended hourly rate, accounting for these premiums on a 12-hour shift, ranges from $68.75 to $104.85.
