This position conducts administrative tasks in support of agency administrative operations within the Office of the Chief. You will be challenged to think critically on your feet, resolve unique issues as they arise, and work in a team environment. Some duties include processing multi-step administrative actions, generating and cross-referencing reports as a member of a cross-functional team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong interpersonal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with the public both in person and through written correspondence. This is an exciting opportunity for an organized, detail-oriented individual who is eager to learn, develop new skills, and grow within the position. The candidate must also be comfortable using Microsoft Teams, WebEx, and Zoom as needed.
High school diploma or GED and 2 years of administrative support experience working with a large organization.
Effective October 2012, mandated by the Virginia State Board of Health 12VAC5-31-540, VA EMS Regulations require a criminal background check conducted by the Central Crime Records Exchange and the National Crime Information Center via Virginia State Police; and a driving record transcript from the individual's state Department of Motor Vehicles.
This is a non-exempt, 37.5-hour-per-week position, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The position is eligible for telework with supervisor approval.
$31.22-$36.98 hourly
