Job Summary
Responsible for the administrative support of two full‑time clinical providers. Duties include obtaining authorizations for all procedural services and diagnostic testing, mailing new patient questionnaires, coordinating with staff at clinic locations for supporting documents and patient schedules, scheduling procedures after obtaining proper authorization, reviewing orders, notes and referrals, and serving as primary backup for other providers as needed.
Responsibilities
- Obtain authorizations for procedural services and diagnostic testing.
- Mail new patient questionnaires.
- Coordinate with clinic staff to gather necessary supporting documents.
- Manage patient schedules and coordinate appointment dates.
- Review orders, notes, and referrals for accuracy.
- Provide backup support for other providers.
Minimum Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree or relevant college coursework.
- 3–5 years of medical secretarial experience focused on authorizations and patient benefits, or equivalent education/experience.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with clinical providers' administrative systems.
- Knowledge of insurance authorization processes.
Work Days
Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Salary
Grade 4: $17.50 – $29.76 per hour. Salary range is a general guideline and may vary based on candidate skills, experience, and internal equity.
