The University of Iowa is seeking an Administrative Services Coordinator for Student Disability Services. This role involves managing office reception, financial processes, and providing administrative support to ensure smooth operations. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree and administrative experience while demonstrating excellent communication and organizational skills.
The Administrative Services Coordinator position within Student Disability Services (SDS) is a multifaceted role that encompasses a variety of essential functions. This position serves as the front-line reception for SDS, handling scheduling, project support, and general assistance to ensure the smooth operation of the office. Key responsibilities include managing financial and administrative processes, performing financial documentation and reporting, monitoring departmental accounts and expenditures, reconciling statements, and resolving billing questions. Additionally, the role involves maintaining confidentiality and integrity with sensitive information. The position also involves proctoring student exams, adhering to university and SDS protocols, and managing the departmental shared email. A high degree of professionalism and discretion is expected in all aspects of this position.
