The University of Iowa seeks a Food Service Coordinator to assist in supervising and managing food service operations within the Division of Student Life. This full-time role includes overseeing student and merit staff, ensuring cleanliness, and monitoring financial processes. Ideal candidates will have experience in food service management and team leadership skills.
Assists the Assistant Manager in supervising, hiring, evaluating, training, assigning duties, and coaching the student employees and merit staff as assigned. Supervises operational set-up, a variety of food service duties/ responsibilities and maintaining cleanliness of food service areas and equipment. Monitors financials, cash register procedures and cash handling.
Rotational schedule. 9:00am -5:30pm three days a week, with a 10:30am -7:00pm twice a week. Sunday - Friday, with Saturday and an additional rotating day off. Work hours and location will vary based on need.
