Job summary

HOT Counseling Center seeks an Administrative Tech to provide administrative and clinical support across the center, coordinating front desk operations, scheduling staff, and sustaining excellent customer service while liaising with Community Clinic, Older Adult Unit and Outpatient Treatment Services.

The role requires HS diploma, prior administrative experience, strong computer skills, team collaboration, and ability to lift 30 lbs.

  • Graduation from a standard senior high school or GED.
  • Knowledge of generally accepted professional office practices.

  • Ability to build professional relationships with staff and other organizations.
  • Must meet regular attendance requirements.
  • CPR and PMAB certification are valued.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate front desk functions and supervise front desk staff scheduling.

Job description

This position is located at the HOT Counseling Center and is responsible for administrative and clinical support work to that are including organizing, coordinating, and tracking of services required in the major program area. In their capacity as Administrative Tech the individual in this position will also assist in facilitating information flow between major program areas including the Community Clinic, Older Adult Unit and Outpatient Treatment Services section in order to maximize service efficiency for consumers and staff. These duties will also require direct work with consumers, care givers and consumer support.

EXAMPLES OF WORK PERFORMED:
  • Maintain excellent customer service.
  • Organize work requirements with spreadsheet.
  • Conduct Financial Assessments.
  • Assist Eligibility Specialists as needed.
  • Assist with other duties as required and assigned as needed.

A primary work responsibility is coordinating the many functions of the front desk at the Counseling Center including oversight of the front desk service and the scheduling of other front desk staff while maintaining excellent customer service. This individual will also conduct financial assessments and monitor the compliance of this activity with the front desk staff. Position will also assist within the Consumer Eligibility Specialist department offering clerical assistance as needed. This individual will assist consumers on a limited basis with pertinent transportation needs.

Experience:

Must have experience performing administrative support work. Consideration given to those with experience in working with individuals with mental health issues.

Education:

Graduation from a standard senior high school or GED.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
  • Knowledge of generally accepted professional office practices.
  • The ability to interact with consumers in a professional manner while keeping customer service a priority.
  • Must have excellent computer skills and knowledge.
  • Ability and work with staff and the ability to communicate effectively both written and oral, face to face and through phone contacts.
  • Must be able to lift up to 30lbs.
  • Must have excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to enhance professional working relationships with organizations as well as Clinic staff.
  • Must be able to meet the essential requirement of regular dependable attendance.
  • Experience or training in these principles is valued in all applicants.
  • Must be able to perform skills required for CPR and PMAB certification.

Hours:

Mon-Fri 8am-5pm

Salary:

$31,200.00 Annually/$15.0000Hourly
