The NCDOT Office of Economic Opportunity and Compliance (EOC) exists to promote economic opportunity, growth and engagement in communities across N.C. to ensure stakeholders have access and opportunity to participate in transportation programs. The Administrative Officer I provides critical operational, administrative, and programming support directly to the Senior Director of Economic Opportunity and Compliance. This role ensures seamless execution of day-to-day operations across all compliance and business development initiatives. This support includes report writing, data verification, information summarization and reconciliation, records management, data collection and analysis, research, inventory and expenditure tracking. Provides primary support administration to the Senior Director of EOC for statewide program initiatives, daily operations, special projects, and operational reporting. Communicates professionally and effectively with staff, leadership, external agencies, and the public across written, telephone, and in-person settings. Responsible for scheduling meetings, coordinating executive travel, managing calendars, capturing detailed meeting minutes, overseeing meeting logistics, and preparing briefing materials and executive summaries.
Salary Grade and Salary Range: NC11 $45,431 - $79,504
