Job summary

The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’s Allegheny County Area Agency on Aging is seeking an Administrative Officer 1 to support programs that improve the lives of older adults. You will contribute to oversight efforts that strengthen service quality across the county and help ensure programs remain effective, reliable, and aligned with community needs.

Responsibilities include monitoring, evaluation, tool development, report preparation, and data analysis to drive leadership decisions.

Qualifications

• Two years of office management or staff work experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of experience and training.
• PA residency required.

Responsibilities

• Program Monitoring: Review external providers and internal units to assess compliance and quality through audits and reports.
• Tool Development: Create and refine monitoring tools and systems to support consistent evaluation.
• Report Preparation: Prepare monitoring reports and follow through on findings to strengthen program performance.
• Provider Communication: Interact with contracted providers and internal programs regarding compliance and quality matters.
• Data Analysis: Compile statistical data and evaluate performance results to support leadership decisions.
