Job summary

Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’s Allegheny County Area Agency on Aging is seeking an Administrative Officer 1 to support monitoring, evaluation, and compliance across programs serving older adults. You will help ensure services are effective, reliable, and responsive to community needs.

The role includes developing monitoring tools, preparing reports, and interacting with providers. Work hours are 8:30 AM–4:30 PM, with no telework, and opportunities exist to work from a headquarters office in

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in varied office management or staff work and a bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Residency requirements for PA and Allegheny County; preference for local candidates.
• Ability to perform essential job functions and meet eligibility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Monitor external providers and internal units for compliance and quality through audits and reports.
• Develop and refine monitoring tools and systems for consistent evaluation.
• Prepare monitoring reports and act on findings to improve program performance.
• Communicate with contracted providers and internal programs regarding compliance and quality.
• Compile statistics and analyze performance to support leadership recommendations.
