Job summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is hiring an Administrative Nurse Supervisor (ANS) to lead clinical operations on a shift, coordinating with nursing and physician leadership to ensure safe, high-quality patient care. This role requires an accredited nursing degree, Ohio RN licensure, a BSN, and several years of hospital nursing experience, with ACLS and professional certification preferred.

The ANS will manage staff, handle crises, and uphold compliance and patient experience

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with current Ohio licensure.
• BSN required; ACLS certification preferred/required after hire.
• Three years of progressive hospital nursing experience in administration and supervision.
• Strong communication, conflict management, decision-making and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Administrates clinical operations in partnership with nursing and physician leadership.
• Supervises staff on assigned shift and coordinates with departments.
• Facilitates communication and ensures safe, effective patient care.
• Responds to crises and emergencies in collaboration with leadership and legal.
• Ensures compliance with the Ohio Board of Nursing and accreditation bodies.
