Job summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager to support the Nurse Manager in leading a team of care providers delivering patient-focused care.

The ANM will plan, organize, direct and evaluate patient care operations on a 24-hour basis, foster a healthy work environment, mentor staff and collaborate with other departments to improve outcomes and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing required.
• Current Ohio RN license.
• Two years of clinical experience in patient care setting required.

Responsibilities

• Assist planning, organization, direction and evaluation of patient care operations for designated area(s) on a 24-hour basis.
• Guide, coach and evaluate the work performance of patient care staff under Nurse Manager guidance.
• Collaborate with other patient care departments to support patient care operations and services.
