Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking an Administrative Manager to oversee delivery of care and administrative and fiscal management for an assigned area, working with an interdisciplinary team. The role partners with the Director to meet department goals and ensure regulatory compliance.

The position emphasizes 24-hour accountability for patient care, budget and staffing oversight, leadership, and medical records management. Day shift; 40 hours per week in Heart Services Admin.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree is required.
• Licensed in the state of Ohio for appropriate field.
• 3-5 years of management experience in a healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Administrative Management Oversight: 24-hour accountability for patient care within the assigned business line; develop and evaluate performance and improvement programs; plan clinical consulting services to support outcomes and family needs.
• Operations: Develops staffing plans, budgets, and policies; interprets goals; analyzes statistics; improves clinical processes; ensures qualified HR and staffing; recruits and retains personnel; coordinates training and professional development; collaborates with other departments; supports compliance and strategic planning.
• Leadership: Supports executive planning, fosters servant leadership and customer service; leads project management with multiple departments; participates in organizational activities; mentors staff.
• Medical Records Management: Ensures adequate record keeping and documentation for reimbursement, quality, risk and research; develops policies for document handling; assists in educational materials; oversees software design for health information systems; supervises staff.
