Montrose County is seeking a qualified administrative supervisor to support the Human Services Director and Assistant Director. The role oversees daily admin and intake operations, ensuring efficient workflow and responsive customer service.

The position also acts as Civil Rights contact and coordinates related review processes. The individual will supervise intake staff and support cross-functional budgeting, purchasing, and grant-related activities while maintaining confidentiality and county

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred; five years of related experience may substitute.
• Experience: five years in office/department management or similar.
• Knowledge of civil rights laws and public administration.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsabilités

• Leads staff and oversees performance management and coaching.
• Oversees intake processing for multiple programs and ensures compliance.
• Analyzes administrative processes for efficiency and compliance.
• Maintains civil rights plan and handles complaints.
• Manages budget preparation, data entry and transfers.
• Oversees purchasing, contracts and AP/invoices.
