Montrose County School District invites applications for Assistant Superintendent of Operations, a key district administrator role based in the District Office. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Master’s degree or certification preferred.
• Five years in leadership/management/supervisory position required.
• Experience with public safety, crisis management, and school district operations preferred.
• Budget planning familiarity and knowledge of state and federal regulations desired.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all operational functions for the District.
• Lead Safety and Security, Facilities, Finance, HR, and Technology teams.
• Align operations with the District’s mission and goals; guide strategic implementation.
• Plan, organize, and direct the District’s operations; provide district-wide leadership.
• Attend school board meetings and report to the Board of Education; participate on committees.
