Job summary

The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) is seeking an Administrative Coordinator for the Safety Risk Mgmt department at Rusk State Hospital. The role involves high-level administrative planning, travel coordination, and report preparation to support risk management.

Eligible candidates will have multiple years of administrative experience, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and ability to manage complex documents and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Three (3) yrs. experience in management level administrative support work.
• Three (3) yrs. experience using Microsoft Office Products.
• Three (3) years’ experience in preparing and maintaining records, files, and reports.
• Three (2) years’ experience with customer service preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans and coordinates administrative functions for the Risk Management area.
• Preparation and editing of reports; manages travel arrangements and expenditures.
• Develops documents and correspondence using MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access.
• Leads area staff and coordinates clerical work and related tasks.
