Job summary

  • Explains policy/procedures to others; collects and analyzes moderately complex data.
  • May assist in training or answering questions for Management Assistant or Office Assistant.

Summary

Supports one or more Director-level or above positions with complex administrative problems, prepares non-routine documents, reports, spreadsheets as requested, develops advanced presentation materials, coordinates special projects. The Administrative Coordinator remains knowledgeable about business unit policies or research budget variance depending on department assigned and follows up to resolve issues. Explains policy/procedures to other parties, collects, compiles and analyzes moderately complex to complex data. The Administrative Coordinator may assist in training or answering questions for Management Assistant and/or Office Assistant

Minimum Education Level

High School Diploma/GED

Preferred Education Level

Bachelor's Degree

Minimum Experience Required

3 years administrative support experience in healthcare, research and/or academic setting.

Skills/Training Required
  • Self-motivator with exceptional organizational skills and evidence of timely deliverables required
  • Service oriented and consensus building approach to problem solving required
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc) required
  • Exceptional verbal and written communications skills with knowledge of and experience in employing conflict management techniques required
Preferred Experience
  • Experience with business meeting and event planning preferred
  • Experience in research administration in academic medical center or research institute preferred
Salary Range

$20.64 - $31.47 Salary ranges posted for this position represent the expected base pay range for the role. Actual compensation may vary based on location and a variety of job-related factors, including experience, skills, education, and internal equity among Team Members in similar positions.
