Job Description This position is responsible for maintaining department records including faculty office hours, load reports, syllabi, textbook adoptions, low-enrolled class requests, travel requests and vouchers, independent study requests, and overload requests. The administrative assistant performs other activities as needed including budgetary activities (i.e. payroll, costing allocations, account maintenance, PMRs, etc.) preparing faculty travel requests, events, and vouchers; preparing faculty load reports and faculty course reassignments; and compiling reports that may be required by university administration or external agencies.
