The North Carolina Department of Revenue is accepting applications for an Administrative Associate II to work in the Central Examination Division. This position assists and supports the work of the Assistant Director, managers, supervisors, and fellow employees assigned to this unit. The Administrative Associate II performs a full array of administrative duties that are necessary to facilitate a broad range of communication efforts internally, and to serve as a conduit for the orderly flow of work within the Central Examination Division.
The Administrative Associate ensures operations are conducted in the most effective, efficient, and professional manner possible in order to attain the highest degree of compliance with tax laws and regulations.

Recruitment Range: $31,200 - $51,249

This position is subject to federal and state criminal background checks that may include fingerprinting and verification of tax compliance. "Tax compliance" is defined as having filed and paid all North Carolina State taxes owed each year leading up to the current calendar year or currently in a non-delinquent payment status with the State of North Carolina on taxes that are currently owed to the state.
