The position provides executive-level administrative support to the Division of Online and Continuing Education ( DOCE ) Dean and Associate Dean, driving key functions that ensure the efficient operation of the division’s activities. Operating as a self-starter with a high degree of initiative, discretion, and diplomacy, this role oversees the dean’s office suite, including managing communications, scheduling, front-desk reception, and complex calendar arrangements. Duties include coordinating communication, fostering collaboration, enhancing business processes, managing financial activities, and ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data privacy regulations. With a focus on integrity and collaboration, this position supports the division’s objectives and activities while upholding organizational standards and values. Responsibilities include discretion, judgment, knowledge of administrative processes, diplomacy, and the ability to work independently; to find and analyze data using campus tools; to organize large meetings/events; to communicate effectively; to problem-solve; and to maintain private and sensitive information. Additionally, budgetary responsibilities entail purchasing, travel, funds transfers, and expense reallocations. Administrative functions involve verbal and written communication with all university divisions and departments and collaborating with DOCE staff to enhance business processes and develop creative communications and materials to foster a collaborative culture on campus.

The annual salary for this position starts at $50,000 and may go up from there depending on candidate qualifications.
