Qualifications

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

In this role, you will provide essential support across administration, human resources, and payroll. You will work closely with office staff, field employees, supervisors, and company leadership to help ensure information is accurate, deadlines are met, and day-to-day responsibilities are handled professionally.

What You’ll Do

Administrative Support

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to leadership and internal teams.
  • Manage incoming calls, emails, and general office communications professionally and promptly.
  • Prepare letters, reports, spreadsheets, forms, and other business documents.
  • Maintain accurate and well-organized digital and paper filing systems.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, interviews, appointments, and other office activities.
  • Assist with additional administrative projects and operational needs as assigned.

Human Resources Support

  • Assist with employee onboarding, including preparing new-hire paperwork and coordinating onboarding activities.
  • Maintain personnel files and help ensure employee records are accurate, complete, and current.
  • Support employee record updates, HR documentation, and policy acknowledgments.
  • Coordinate pre-employment requirements, including background checks and related onboarding logistics.
  • Communicate with employees and supervisors regarding required forms, documentation, and deadlines.
  • Handle confidential employee and company information with discretion and professionalism.

Payroll and Timekeeping Support

  • Collect, review, and organize employee timesheets for payroll processing.
  • Assist with payroll data entry and verify supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness.
  • Follow up with supervisors and employees regarding missing, incomplete, or inconsistent timekeeping information.
  • Help maintain accurate payroll and timekeeping records.
  • Identify discrepancies and elevate issues promptly to the appropriate team member.

What We’re Looking For

  • At least one year of administrative assistant, office support, or related professional experience.
  • Recent graduates with relevant administrative experience are encouraged to apply.
  • Previous experience supporting human resources and/or payroll functions is strongly preferred.
  • Experience in construction, subcontracting, skilled trades, or a similar environment is a plus.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
