  • Assigns projects to personnel within the unit.
  • Assists and advises the department head/division director in all phases of the direction and supervision of the unit's activities.
  • Prepares all confidential correspondence for the department head/division director.
  • Oversees the appointment and meeting schedule for the department head/division director.
  • Oversees maintenance of a comprehensive central filing system accessible to all employees who have a need for the files.
  • Assists the department head/division director in maintaining expenditures within the budget amounts.
  • Utilizes personal computers and appropriate software to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
