Spurwink's Center for Safe and Healthy Families is seeking an intake/administrative professional to welcome families and professionals, route inquiries, and support referrals. The role requires empathy, strong communication, and comfort with electronic databases.
You will schedule appointments, assist medical providers, manage front desk phones, and coordinate with DHHS, while maintaining data organization and confidentiality in a Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm schedule with hourly pay of 19.00 to 22.50.
The Center for Safe and Healthy Families is staffed by a multidisciplinary team of professionals including Psychologists, Social Workers, Pediatricians, and Nurse Practitioners who provide child-friendly, expert evaluations of children who may have been abused. The referral specialist is the first point of contact for families and professionals seeking our services.
The schedule is Monday-Friday 9am-5pm and the position pays $19.00-$22.50 per hour.
HS diploma or GED required, some bachelor preferred. Must have effective oral and written communication skills. Must have experience with electronic databases, electronic communication, and personal computers. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, and Electronic Health Records preferred. Must be highly adaptive, organized and able to respond to disruptions while completing essential duties. Must show initiative and good problem-solving skills.
